Centaury City boasts, what is thought to be the largest regional shopping centers in Africa, the prestigious Canal Walk. With over 400 shops dedicated to the ultimate shopping experience, 20 cinemas, restaurants, and a science centre, Canal Walk and its management has also taken time to remember the environment surrounding it.

The Mall boasts an impressive bird conservation known as Intaka Island, which is a 16ha wetlands area that is rich in birdlife and many different indigenous plants. Also found in Century City is the massive Seasonal Amusement Park, Ratanga Junction Theme Park. Said to be South Africa’s first full-scale theme park, Ratanga Junction features well over 30 attractions for the child in all of us. The most impressive of these attractions has to be the Cobra Roller Coaster, which is a fast, adrenalin pumping ride.
