To the north of Cape Town’s City Bowl, heading out on the N1 lies the largest of the Cape Town Metro’s Suburbs. With flourishing vineyards, hospitable atmosphere and award-winning wines, a drive through the lush green hills of Durbanville is a perfect way to spend a day, savoring some of the finest wines, which are heartedly compliments by some of the best restaurants in the region. Look forward to visiting the Tygervalley Waterfront, the Tygerberg Nature Reserve and Grand west Casino in Goodwood. Or go on a shopping spree for a bit of retail therapy at the Canal Walk shopping complex which offers over 400 stores, or take the kids out for a few hours entertainment at Ratanga Junction Theme Park.
