Vredehoek is a suburb, which lies just outside the city centre of Cape Town, in the Western Cape Province of South Africa. It is set on the lower slopes of Devils Peak and has the suburb of Oranjezicht as a neighbor. Like many of the suburbs in the area, Vredehoek is predominantly a residential area with many of the locals working in the city.

The bohemian treasures of Loop Street are moments away, with a mixture of restaurants curios and antique shops and coffee and book shops there to provide hours of entertainment.

The National Art Gallery, Houses of Parliament and Company Gardens are all within walking distances of the Suburb while the cable way to the top of Table Mountain is a mere 10 minutes drive away. Vredehoek is just about the perfect spot from which to explore the city and all its wonders.
