Found on the Atlantic Seaboard, Bakoven is a small suburb of the Coty of Cape Town in the Western Province of South Africa. It lies a very short few minutes from Camp’s Bay and is probably one of the most sought after neighborhoods’ in Cape Town. It offers a genuine village feel, which has been kept this way deliberately, to avoid the constant hustle and bustle of the other bigger suburbs like Camp’s Bay and Bantry Bay.

Bakoven is perfectly positioned as a launching spot for visitors and tourist as they explore the Mother City and its surrounding areas. The world famous V&A Waterfront lies just 10 minutes away, while other popular tourist spots like Llandudno and Hout Bay are equally close by.

The beach at Bakoven is small and fervently protected by the local residents, but it none the less offers white sandy beaches surrounded by big boulders, creating an ideal spot for daytime picnic or late afternoon sundowners.
